Apply For a Competitive Grant
Competitive grant applications are open to nonprofit organizations in good standing with the IRS and secretary of state. In order to apply for a competitive grant, you must first register your nonprofit in our application system using the links below unless otherwise noted with an asterisk*.
Please be aware that it may take up to 7 business days to process your registration. It is recommended that you register in a timely fashion to meet any upcoming grant deadline(s).
Competitive Grants
BRAF Impact Grants*
The Foundation recently opened a competitive round of grants for local nonprofits working in early childhood education, health, and economic prosperity. This funding opportunity was issued in response to findings from our Opportunity Data Project and seeks to address some of the challenges and areas for greatest impact highlighted within those briefings.

Credit Bureau of Baton Rouge Foundation
The Credit Bureau of Baton Rouge Foundation promotes a better understanding of the consumer credit risk system and personal money management so everyone can achieve greater success in life. Application by Invitation Only.
Grant Range: $2,500 to $50,000
E.J. and Marjory B. Ourso Family Foundation
The E. J. and Marjory B. Ourso Family Foundation supports South Louisiana, which has been good to the family over generations. The foundation provides grants to nonprofits that have new, creative or beneficial projects responding to the following program areas: education, health care, human services and religion.

Turner Industries Fund
Turner Industries Fund has granted to a wide variety of causes with emphasis on workforce development and community improvement as it relates to health and education. The fund supports nonprofit organizations in the greater communities of Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, New Iberia, Shreveport and New Orleans, all in Louisiana; Port Arthur, Houston, Corpus Christi, Paris, El Paso, Victoria and Gregory, all in Texas; and Decatur, Alabama
Grant range: $500 to $5,000
