Big Brown Cares
James “Big Brown” Joseph started raising money to buy room air conditioners for disadvantaged people on his UPS route in Louisiana. Helping others made him happy, so he expanded his philanthropy to now include the Big Brown Cares Fund.
The Big Brown Cares Fund now provides financial assistance to eligible Louisiana UPS employees who have experienced a hardship because of an unexpected or unavoidable circumstance. Such events include a serious illness or injury of the employee or family member, death of a family member, or a natural disaster.
