SCHOLARSHIP RENWALS

Each recipient is responsible for checking our website for renewal instructions every semester. Please note, only scholarship recipients can inquire information regarding their account. Please email scholarships@braf.org with your name, scholarship awarded, and attach your renewal documents in a pdf version. You may also mail or fax your documents to our office.

GMRA

RENEWAL: The renewal process for this scholarship has changed effective for the 2019 Fall semester. Upon selection by the GMRA committee, recipients will need to submit a transcript from the previous semester, an official proof of enrollment letter, and a letter confirming employment that is signed, dated, and on letterhead. These documents will need to be submitted every semester to receive the award. Recipients must remain employed part-time by an ADMAX or Associated Grocers store and enrolled as a full-time student.


Documents to be submitted for Spring semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript

  • Letter of recommendation from store manager confirming employment- It must be on official letterhead and include the store number, date, and managers signature. A word document will not be accepted.


ASSOCIATED GROCERS - SAM S. POLITZ MEMORIAL FUND

RENEWAL: To maintain this scholarship, each recipient must maintain full-time status as an undergraduate student and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 per semester. Students must provide the Foundation with a transcript of each completed semester and proof of full-time enrollment for every future or current semester to receive payment.Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript


PAUL F. BROWN SCHOLARSHIP FUND

RENEWAL: To maintain the scholarship, each recipient must maintain full-time status as an undergraduate, as defined by Louisiana State University, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA per semester. Students must provide the Foundation with a transcript and proof of full-time enrollment to receive the second-semester payment.

Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript


LWCC STEPHEN W. CAVANAUGH SCHOLARSHIP FUND

RENEWAL: TTo remain eligible, the recipient must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA each semester and full-time status. At the end of each semester, the recipient will provide the Foundation with a transcript, proof of full-time enrollment for the next semester, and a signed statement verifying the student is still pursuing a degree in an insurance-related field. The subsequent scholarship check will be issued only upon receipt of these documents.

Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript

  • A signed statement verifying you are still pursuing a degree in an insurance-related field. Please contact the director of your major for this statement. A word document will not be accepted.


BOUDREAUX FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP IN HONOR OF JERRY AND CHERRY BOUDREAUX

RENEWAL: To receive the second-semester award, each recipient must maintain full-time enrollment status as an undergraduate, as defined by the college or university, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA each semester. Students must provide the Foundation with a transcript and proof of full-time enrollment for the upcoming semester.

Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript


CHERYL D. CONKLING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

RENEWAL: To maintain the scholarship, the recipient must have a minimum 2.0 GPA each semester and be enrolled as a full-time student. At the end of each semester, the recipient must provide the Foundation with a transcript and proof of full-time enrollment for the next semester. The scholarship check will only be issued upon receipt of these documentsDocuments to be submitted every semester:

KAREN E. MAILLET-DOMINGUE AND SOLVAY/ECO SERVICES SCHOLARSHIP FUND          

RENEWAL: To maintain the scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum 2.0 overall GPA each semester and be enrolled as a full-time student. At the end of each semester, the recipient will provide the Foundation with an official transcript and proof of full-time enrollment for the next semester. The subsequent checks will be issued only upon receipt of these documents

Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

ST. JAMES PARISH SCHOLARSHIP FUND                                                      

RENEWAL: To receive the maximum number of scholarship payments, students must maintain full-time status each semester. The student must also have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students must provide the Foundation with an official transcript and proof of enrollment every semester to receive payment.Documents to be submitted every semester:

  • Proof of enrollment- The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearhouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript
