THREE Cs' FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

HISTORY

The scholarship was established through the generosity of the Crawford Family to assist deckhands obtain their original United Stated Coast Captains License. Mr. Bill Crawford has spent the last 40 years as a very successful United States Coast Guard licensed captain.  He and his family feel it is now their duty assist others to rise in the field. 

ELIGIBILITY

The scholarship provides assists current deckhands obtain the education needed to secure their original United States Coast Guard Captains License. 

AWARD

The number of scholarships awarded each year will be subject to availability of funds. Each scholarship is a one-time award of up to $1,500. Scholarship awards shall be used toward the tuition and expenses to attend an accredited United States Coast Guard Captains program.

REQUIREMENTS

In addition to submitting the Common Application, applicants must submit the following:

  • Completed application form
  • Personal Statement/Essay
  • Personal letter(s) of recommendations from employers

DEADLINE

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
