KAREN E. MAILLET-DOMINGUE AND SOLVAY/ECO SERVICES SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Karen E. Domingue-Maillet and Solvay/Eco Services Scholarship was established by Rhodia, now Solvay/Eco Services, and the Domingue family to honor Karen E. Domingue-Maillet’s life and work. The Scholarship Advisory Committee are members from the Solvay/Eco Services Community Advisory Panel (CAP), a group of local community members in the Scotlandville area who meet monthly with Solvay/Eco Services officials to discuss issues of mutual concern and to give advice and feedback on these issues.
Each year, one scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior from Baker High School, Glen Oaks High School, Southern Lab High School or Scotlandville Magnet High School. Qualified candidates must be in the upper 50% of his/her senior class, exhibit good character and show financial need.
Each year, the Scholarship Committee will determine the number of scholarships awarded each year. Scholarship awards are $1,000 per semester (Fall and Spring only). After the first semester, an additional $250 per semester will be awarded to students who maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and an additional $250 upon completion of final semester, making the scholarship worth up to $10,000.
In applying through the online common application, applicants must submit the following:
- Academic Resume
