Recommending Grants
With a charitable account at the Foundation, you are ready to execute your vision for changing the world. The staff of the Foundation will help you create a robust philanthropy plan and make sure your grants produce a lasting result.
A staff member will be assigned as your lead consultant, and a staff of 20 will support you. Partnership Relations and Donor Services have staff members with connections and knowledge of difficulties faced by people of South Louisiana and the nonprofits doing the best job to address those issues.
Donors can recommend grants by making a phone call, sending an email or by visiting a private and secure portal with all their account information. At that portal, you can recommend and track grants, review your grant history, explore nonprofits and monitor amounts in charitable funds.
For each grant, we manage the procedures, from writing checks and acknowledgements to reviewing the impact of the grant.
