ROGER J. CLOUATRE MEMORIAL SCHOLARHSIP FUND

HISTORY
The Roger J. Clouatre Memorial Scholarship was established in January 2002 by the Clouatre Family. This scholarship is to support public high school graduates of Ascension Parish who have a record of sound achievement in their studies and are good citizens.

ELIGIBILITY
A public high school graduate of Ascension Parish who has a record of sound achievement in their studies, minimum GPA of 3.0, and are good school citizens. Students must show leadership qualities within and beyond their peer group as well as take initiative in school or the broader civic life of the community. Please note, no exceptions will be made. Students must meet all criteria.

AWARD
A one-time scholarship of $500 will be awarded. Scholarship awards shall be used toward the following, in order of priority: tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, and commuting expenses up to $50 dollars a month.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Transcript
  • ACT/SAT
  • Academic resume
  • Personal statement or essay
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Official proof of enrollment letter from school
