ROGER J. CLOUATRE MEMORIAL SCHOLARHSIP FUND
The Roger J. Clouatre Memorial Scholarship was established in January 2002 by the Clouatre Family. This scholarship is to support public high school graduates of Ascension Parish who have a record of sound achievement in their studies and are good citizens.
A public high school graduate of Ascension Parish who has a record of sound achievement in their studies, minimum GPA of 3.0, and are good school citizens. Students must show leadership qualities within and beyond their peer group as well as take initiative in school or the broader civic life of the community.
A one-time scholarship of $500 will be awarded. Scholarship awards shall be used toward the following, in order of priority: tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, and commuting expenses up to $50 dollars a month.

- Previous semester’s academic transcript
- Academic Resume
- An essay outlining the following: applicant’s goals for the future; extracurricular activities; scholastic and other educational achievements; honors and awards; leadership positions; a record of distinctive and significant contributions to the school and/or to the larger community.
- Letter of Recommendation
- Official proof of enrollment letter from school – a letter or certificate confirming student is enrolled full-time in the semester they are applying for. The letter must be signed or have the school’s official seal. Please note that an invoice, class schedule, registered or pre-registered letter, or any other document will not be accepted.
