ROGER J. CLOUATRE MEMORIAL SCHOLARHSIP FUND

HISTORY
The Roger J. Clouatre Memorial Scholarship was established in January of 2002 by the Clouatre Family. The purpose of the scholarship is to support public high school graduates of Ascension Parish who have a record of sound achievement in their studies and of good school citizenship.

ELIGIBILITY
Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must attend a public high school in Ascension Parish.

AWARD
A onetime scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded to the selected student. Scholarship awards shall be used toward the following, in order of priority: tuition and fees; books and supplies; room and board; and commuting expenses up to fifty dollars a month.

REQUIREMENTS
In addition to submitting the Common Application, applicants must submit the following:

  • Transcript
  • ACT/SAT
  • Academic resume
  • Personal statement or essay
  • Letter of recommendation

DEADLINE
Applications must be submitted by April 30. All applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decisions within two months of the due date.
