Asparagus Club Scholarship
Each year, subject to availability of funds, up to ten scholarships are awarded to rising full-time juniors, seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, food management or another relevant course of study leading to a career in the grocery industry, with preference given to the independent retail and wholesale sector. Each scholarship is $1,500 per semester (Fall and Spring only) for a maximum of four consecutive semesters. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA per semester/quarter and full-time status to continue receiving the scholarship.

Associated Grocer-Sam S. Politz Scholarship Fund
Each year, subject to availability of funds, two to four college scholarships are awarded to high school graduates or graduating high school seniors enrolling full-time in an accredited college or university. Each scholarship is for eight consecutive semesters, $1,000 per semester, for a maximum total scholarship award of $8,000. (Fall and Spring semesters only.) Harriet Babin Miller Scholarship Fund
Each year, subject to availability of funds, this scholarship is provided to a graduating senior at Dutchtown High School enrolling full-time in a college or university. The scholarship is a one-time $500 scholarship.

Twiley, Marie and Bringier Barker Scholarship Fund
Each year, subject to availability of funds, up to four scholarships will be awarded to seniors graduating from a public high school in Washington Parish who have a 2.7 cumulative GPA and have been accepted into a university or college as a full-time student. Two of the scholarships will be a one-time, $2,000 award; the other two will be recurring scholarships. The recurring scholarship recipients will receive $2,000 each Fall semester (for a maximum of four years) provided full-time status and a 2.7 cumulative GPA is maintained. {Click Here for more info}


Stephen W. Cavanaugh Scholarship Fund

The Stephen W. Cavanaugh Scholarship Fund was established in January of 2007 by Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation (LWCC) through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation to honor the memory of Stephen W. Cavanaugh. In the spring, a maximum of two scholarships will be awarded to eligible students subject to availability of funds. Each scholarship shall be in the amount of $1,000 per semester, up to eight semesters, with a maximum award of $8,000. {Click Here for more info}


Roger J. Clouatre Memorial Scholarship Fund
Each year, subject to availability of funds, this scholarship provides a one-time $500 award to a high school graduate of a public school in Ascension Parish who has a sound record of achievement in his studies and leadership in his school and community, and who is enrolling full-time in a college or university. The student must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must attend an accredited college or university. The recipient will receive a one-time award of $500.

Ruby J. Darensbourg-Cook Memorial Scholarship
The Ruby J. Darensbourg-Cook Memorial Scholarship offers assistance to graduating high school seniors majoring in Education, with preference given to Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education, at an accredited Louisiana college or university. Scholarship awards are $500 per semester for a maximum of eight consecutive semesters, Fall and Spring only, subject to availability of funds. Grocery Manufacturers Representatives Association of La. Inc. (GMRA) Scholarship
Each year, subject to availability of funds, scholarships are awarded to any full-time college or university student or high school senior enrolling at a college or university full-time who is also employed part-time by any Associated Grocers, ADMAX or Rouse's store. The scholarship award is between $500 and $1,000 per semester, for a maximum of eight consecutive semesters. GMRA recipients must reapply every year to receive the scholarship. M. Paul and Janice LeBlanc Memorial Fund
The M. Paul and Janice LeBlanc Memorial Fund was established in January 2001 by the LeBlanc Family through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide scholarships to high school graduates who reside in parishes where LeBlanc stores are located. These areas include Ascension Parish, Assumption Parish, Livingston Parish, Tangipahoa Parish, Iberville Parish and the city of Zachary.The scholarship is for one semester in the amount of $500. {Click Here for more info}
 

Aaron Bernard Murray and Fay Tyler Murray Educational Encouragement Fund

Aaron Bernard Murray and Fay Tyler Murray Education Encouragement Fund was established in 1998 by the Murray Family through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. Only Baton Rouge High School students nominated or recommended by a teacher and/ or school administrator are eligible to apply. Karen E. Domingue-Maillet and Rhodia Scholarship Fund

The Karen E. Domingue- Maillet and Rhodia Scholarship may be applied to any accredited Louisiana college or university. One scholarship will be awarded to a beginning freshman. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 per year($500 per semester) for four years. After the first semester, an additional $250 per semester will be awarded to students who maintain a 3.0 GPA or better making the scholarship worth up to $5,750. {Click Here for more info}


David and Jeannie Price Scholarship Fund
The David and Jeannie Price Scholarship Fund was established in November of 2007 by Mr. David Price through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation to provide scholarships to full time juniors and seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in business at either Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge or University of Missouri in Columbia.  The scholarship is for one semester in the amount of $3,000. {Click Here for more info}


St. James Parish Scholarship Fund
The scholarship is available to students who have graduated or will graduate from Lutcher High School or St. James High School; who currently reside in the 4th or 5th district of St. James Parish, Louisiana; and who will be enrolled full-time in a college or university. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually, subject to availability of funds. Each scholarship is $500 per semester for eight consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring only). Students must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA and full-time status to continue receiving the scholarship.

Justin Westbrook Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Justin Westbrook, a 2003 graduate of Redemptorist High School. WRKF Scholarship in Broadcast Journalism
The WRKF Scholarship in Broadcast Journalism was established in 1993 by WRKF though the Baton Rouge Area Foundation to promote the study of broadcast journalism. Applicants must be full-time college students who are majoring in Mass Communications/ Broadcasting at either Louisiana State University or Southern University. All candidates must be full-time students who have earned at least 60 hours minimum, 90 hours maximum credit toward a communications/ broadcast degree. The scholarship is for one semester in the amount of $1,000.
