The Foundation offers grants to nonprofits.

They are funded by people who have a desire to make the world a better place. Over nearly 50 years, philanthropists working with us have granted more than $400 million in grants and scholarships.

Nonprofits can apply competitive grants through our online system, which we also use to track their applications and gather follow-up material from nonprofits that have won awards.

Two ways to receive grants.

  1. Donors who have charitable funds at the Foundations and their advisors recommend grants to nonprofits from their charitable funds. Individual organizations cannot apply for these grants.
  2. Nonprofits, though, can apply for competitive grants. These programs are created by supporting organizations, which are nonprofits aligned with us. A board from each of the supporting organizations reviews applications and awards grants. A list of our competitive grants is below.
